I have this 28ga brown Pinfire case with a star, 6tails, PB in a star and COMET in the headstamp.
Polman in the IAA forum says it is possibly a product from CRB (Cart.Russo,Belge) and the PB in a star stands for Paul Berghaus. A shop in Sweden.
Note the star logo with PB.
Case is brown paper 65mm long and a 6.5mm brass height.
I searched old entries on IAA Forum and thanks to other collectors I can show these Comet with tail Pinfire headstamps. The brown case group are from SFM, Paris impressed headstamps.
The raised Comet with faint tail is from Gaupillat.
The Comet with 3 short tails is an unknown maker.
My example above makes 4 different Comet Pinfire headstamps to help confuse us all.
