28 gauge pinfire revolver-carbine

The “LF161”:

The “LF161” revolver-carbine is part of what is called the “1st series” of the 1854 model, since the rear of the breech is in the shape of a “Chinese hat”.

However, it had to be manufactured towards the end of this series since the loading gate is already fitted with a pinch lip.
This detail appears on the revolvers 1854 and on the 7 mm in Double Action around June 1857.

Encore une pièce magnifique.

This is the Cartridge of the carbine, I guess

That is possible … but the LF 161 has a smooth barrel

Have you checked the chamber length of this shotgun to see if it needs special length shotshells like I just did in my latest posting. What is the cylinder length?
I guess the cylinder photo was from this firearm.

Why would anyone buy a firearm unless they could but ammunition easily at a store? Show me a catalogue photo of short shotshells that would fit. Ron.
