2mm Pinfire Guns and Cartridges

Thank you Aaron for a very informative article. I have my grandfather’s little 2 mm gun which is silver - or German silver (nickel-silver alloy). It’s the original, Austrian made with the “real” barrel. The post-war guns have a solid barrel with a vent on top to let the gas escape but you can’t fire a real bullet.

Every collection should have at least one of these. This is a page from a 1972 catalogue

A Lefaucheux 2 mm pinfire revolver in silver and gold

That is amazing! I had no idea that there were miniatures of real Lefaucheux revolvers.

Don’t think there is a second existing.
It’s part of the archives of Eugène Lefaucheux.
