It’s definitely a nice one! Maybe @fusilLF can chime in as he really likes the early Devisme shotguns and has a handful of them.

Hi the numbers are 1949 and date is 1862 , also a DV with a crown above it , the barrels are only 19 inches long and 34 inches overall when put together

If 1862 is the year of manufacture, this would mean that Casimir Lefaucheux’s patent has fallen into the public domain.
So everyone is free to be able to make them.
DV with his crown could mean DeVisme…but I’m not sure
