The Pinfire Page is a recurring column I have in each issue of the bimonthly publication, The International Ammunition Journal. It showcases my research, images and other documents related to the pinfire system which was the first major breakthrough in modern ammunition.
Excellent little book. A must-have for the pin fire collector. I wish there were more books like it.

Someday I’ll do a more in depth book. These journal articles at least kind of force me to photograph some things and do some research at least every two months.
I would like to have a book that details the history of the pinfire system including significant guns with a focus on the cartridge manufacturers and detailing the history about as many of the cartridge manufacturers as I can find info on and showing all of the cartridges that they made
